Legionella Awareness Training

Why do you need legionella awareness training?

Awareness of legionella and the potentially serious effects of Legionnaires’ disease have grown in recent years, often fuelled by the publicity from the major outbreaks, which have led to prosecutions under the Health & Safety at Work Act. For organisations of all types, it has become more important that individuals understand their legal duties and the serious consequences of a failure to comply with the law.

Welcome to the AWT solution

Our legionella awareness training course has been developed as an introduction to the issues that surround legionella and Legionnaires’ disease, the history of the organism, current UK legislation (L8 ACoP), good practice procedures and a review of recent outbreaks.
