Highfield Level 2 Awarded in Legionella Awareness (RQF)

These are our entry-level accredited 1-day courses, which are typically for Operators, Supervisors and Responsible Persons.

There are two pathways to choose from;

On the completion of either course candidates will have the following learning outcomes;

✓ Understand the health risks associated with legionella bacteria

✓ Understand how legislation and codes of practice can support the management of legionella bacteria

✓ Understand how to control the risks of legionella bacteria

✓ Understand the risks associated with legionella bacteria in cooling towers and evaporative condensers / hot and cold water systems

✓ Know how to control the risks associated with legionella bacteria in cooling towers and evaporative condensers / hot and cold water systems

If you do require both pathways we can arrange a combined 1 ½ day course.

There is a written open-book assessment that accompanies each course which must be passed to achieve the Ofqual accreditation?

If you have a small number of candidates the Training Academy operate open courses where you can join candidates from other companies/organisations. Open courses are delivered at either at our Barlborough Training Academy, selected venues around the country or via Teams/Zoom. Please see the booking section for available dates and booking form.
