The Training Academy has teamed up with Highfield qualifications, who are a global leader in compliance and work-based learning and apprenticeship qualifications and one of the UK’s most recognisable awarding organisations.
As a Highfield Qualifications approved centre, the Training Academy delivers accredited Ofqual courses that have specifically been developed by Advanced Water Technologies to meet the needs of candidates at all levels of technical and non-technical experience – ‘Duty Holder’, ‘Responsible Person’, site managers, water cooling tower operators, as well as operations staff. These qualifications are captured within the UK’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RFQ) which is similar to NVQ, just with differing entry points.
“Those specifically appointed to implement the Legionella control measures and strategies should be suitably informed, instructed and trained and their suitability assessed. They must be properly trained to a level that ensures tasks are carried out in a safe, technically competent manner, and receive regular refresher training.”
