Application Process
Advanced Water Technologies has a robust application process to ensure that we are a good fit for your career.
Make an Enquiry
Once we have received your CV, someone from our recruitment and HR team will aim to be in touch within 10 working days of the advert closing date, if not sooner. (If you haven't heard, feel free to contact us info@advanced-water.co.uk).
You can then expect the following to happen. However, please note this may vary depending on location and job role.
Typically for permanent vacancies the next stage will be to expand on your CV through a phone interview. We can give you more of a feel for the company and job. We'll hopefully be able to let you know the outcome within 5 working days.
If you are successful, we would invite you in for an interview to your potential future place of work and line manager. At this stage, we are looking to get to know more about your experience and transferable skills. As well as talking us through your CV, you may be asked to give examples or explain how you might behave in a particular situation. These don't have to be just work examples, you can draw on other experiences such as volunteering and sporting activities.
As people are so important to us as a company, we would also like to get to know you as a person also, for example, what do you do to relax and enjoy life. We will try to get back to you within 5 working days again from here. You may also be invited back to meet a more senior member of the team for a final interview.
This may follow a similar format to the previous meeting, expanding on your increased knowledge of the role and company. All interviews we will look to get an understanding to your short and longer-term career hopes and goals. All our interviews are a two-way process, so please feel free to ask as many questions as you need!
You may also be asked to do a Personality Profile Analysis (PPA) through our process. This is just a tool to help us fit people into the right areas, there is no 'right' or 'wrong' and we are happy to share the results with you.
If both parties are happy you will then get a verbal job offer, agreeing a start date, followed by your written contract and all the necessary documents to get your employment underway.
